Board of Directors of EASY SOFTWARE AG extends mandate of CEO Dieter Weißhaar

At ist meeting yesterday, the Supervisory Board of EASY SOFTWARE AG (ISIN: DE0005634000, WKN 563400) prematurely extended the appointment of Dieter Weißhaar (54) as CEO of EASY SOFTWARE AG until July 31th, 2024, while simultaneously adjusting the contract.

“Under the leadership of Dieter Weißhaar, EASY SOFTWARE has undergone profound changes and is on the road to success. The premature extension of the mandate underlines our confidence in Dieter Weißhaar and is a sign of continuity,” explained Oliver Krautscheid, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Weißhaar has been a member of the Management Board of EASY SOFTWARE AG since June 1st, 2018 and Chairman since September 1st, 2018. Previously, he held executive positions at various companies such as IBM, Oracle, Deutsche Telekom and B2X in the ICT industry.

Weißhaar announced the EASY 21 corporate strategy in 2018 and is implementing it with the new management team. The members of the now international team are executives from the software industry, the founding team of Apinauten GmbH and talents from the company’s own talent pool. Apinauten GmbH, Leipzig, was acquired as part of the company strategy. With the EASY ApiOmat, Apinauten GmbH develops and offers one of the leading technology platforms in the field of multi-experience, which strengthens the cloud and digitization expertise of EASY SOFTWARE. In the first half of 2019, the EASY Group grew sales by 20%.
