EASY PartnerPort 2.0: Making a Trusted Tool Even Better

Making a good thing better – that is the goal of the new PartnerPort 2.0 by EASY SOFTWARE AG. The background: At the end of 2015, many long-term EASY partners expressed that they had been very satisfied in the past with the performance of the “old” PartnerPort. Therefore, EASY management, led by CEO Willy Cremers, decided to take the bold step of reactivating this long-term, proven, and functional institution. This will help EASY partners to focus even more clearly on doing business with EASY solutions, making them even more successful on the market.


Clear Mission

The restart is associated with a clear mission: “Our focus is on increasing the quality and quantity of customer service we are able to provide to EASY partners. A long-term increase in partner satisfaction through connectivity, reliability, and better reachability is our goal. We want to provide our partners with the best possible support – they should enjoy working with EASY and be able to do so successfully. Our focus is on our values: personal, smart, and sustainable,” summarises Christoph Köhne, head of Partner Port 2.0 at EASY. In other words: EASY PartnerPort 2.0 actively works and communicates with EASY partners as a single point of contact (SPOC), including with regard to ideas, constructive feedback, and suggestions for how EASY can support its partners even more effectively.


From planning to implementation

The planning stages have largely been completed: Christoph Köhne and his team have already started with their tasks and are already implementing various items every day. In addition to the familiar high quality in replying to all sales-related questions, the new version of PartnerPort is supplemented with a strong technical expertise from Partner Consulting colleagues. This focuses on supporting and consulting partners in the pre-sales and onboarding process. Moreover, stakeholders will probably be named in Partner Consulting by early June 2016 who will assume sponsorship for part of the EASY portfolio, externally for the partner and internally for Product Management. The stakeholders’ major tasks include accepting partner feedback and transport it to the Software Development SCRUM teams, as well as technically and professionally qualified support.


Central information platform for EASY partners

The “EASY PartnerPort 2.0” section on the EASY extranet is used as the central information platform for EASY partners. Subscribing to this section is particularly useful in order to not miss any news. You can mail all your queries to The team’s target is to respond to every query within 24 hours.


First Appearance at EASY TechTalk

At the EASY TechTalk in February, audience members had the opportunity to get to know the faces behind the PartnerPort on a personal basis for the first time. During a presentation in Dutch, French, English, and German – to serve the wide spectrum of partners present – EASY CEO Willy Cremers passed the “ball” down the line, documenting the team’s clear international orientation. The clear message here was: Linguistic differences represent no barrier to communication through PartnerPort 2.0.

In terms of content, PartnerPort will be responsible for the upcoming TechTalk event on the occasion of EASY World. We will conduct a survey with all partners in mid-June or at the end of June 2016 to find out which topics have a special focus and require appropriate preparation by the team.
