Contact data is a key part of everyday business. But where does this data come from, and who ensures it stays correct over the years? After all, companies do undergo restructuring processes from time to time. Examples of these processes include name changes, mergers, or changes of location.
This is where “Team master data management” comes into play. Our primary task is to update and prepare master data so that we can contact, coordinate, consult with, and supply stakeholders, customers, and distribution partners in further business processes based on reliable data.

If we had to name what our specific duties are, we’d say to prepare inquiries from stakeholders (lead management), maintain contacts for support, and research and prepare companies for marketing lists for acquiring new customers and partners.
Because master data management forms the basis for a wide range of areas and associated business processes in the company, working in the PartnerPort 2.0 gives us insight into the wide diversity of the business world. It’s a world we only knew in theory in the past, from books and university seminars.
Since EASY facilitates flexible divisions of work time, our studies didn’t come up short. Instead, practical work has helped us better retain what we learned. What might seem abstract or tough to grasp in the textbooks transforms into practical knowledge and concrete content through daily teamwork.
Added Values “Outside” of Everyday Work
There’s nothing wrong with grabbing the old Star Wars cup and having a relaxed chat with your colleagues during break time – in fact, it’s a good way to give your back and eyes a little break. In fact, you might even strike up a friendly competition with your colleagues at the video game console. The first “EASY FIFA Cup” took part in our own “arena,” the Atrium, in March. It was a great way to get “outside” of our everyday work routine. After such a fun night, a rematch is certainly in the cards …
