Combined Expertise: EASY SOFTWARE AG Acquires PROXESS GmbH

EASY SOFTWARE AG has announced the acquisition of PROXESS GmbH. The strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone in easy’s corporate development and will further strengthen the company’s market position.

Essen, November 13, 2023: EASY SOFTWARE AG announces the acquisition of PROXESS GmbH. The acquisition of PROXESS is the result of a careful evaluation and selection of companies that bring further high-quality expertise and products to the easy product and service portfolio and contribute to the company’s long-term growth strategy. With the acquisition, two leading ECM experts, each with more than 30 years of digitization experience, combine their joint know-how for over 8,000 customers worldwide and bundle the three product brands easy, PROXESS and HABEL under one roof.

The merger marks a significant milestone in the history of both companies. In the future, PROXESS GmbH will operate as part of the easy Group. The seamless integration of resources and expertise plays an important role in this. It secures the long-term perspective and the digital future for more than 8,000 customers worldwide. Customers and partners will benefit from decades of expertise, an expanded product portfolio and a cloud and AI strategy from a single source. The acquisition gives easy more market share, new market segments, additional industry expertise and a diversified portfolio as well as increased innovative strength.

PROXESS CEO Martin Fecker and easy CEO Andreas Zipser are looking forward to the future cooperation and the goal of successfully expanding easy’s position as a leading ECM provider for a large and loyal customer base.

“We are convinced that our existing and new customers as well as our partners will benefit greatly from this transaction,” says Andreas Zipser, CEO of easy. “With a long track record in document management and archiving, PROXESS has built a first-class reputation in the industry with its successful product brands PROXESS and HABEL. We benefit from the strengths and products of both companies and from the synergies that give us a competitive edge and drive our growth.”

Martin Fecker, CEO of PROXESS, is equally convinced: “Combining our expertise and experience, especially in specific industries, will enable us to expand our know-how and offer our customers even better solutions, but also to spread new offerings to more markets. By combining our product portfolios, our customers will benefit from a broader range of solutions with great potential, especially in the area of cloud platforms and AI. Together we can achieve even more.

I look forward to seeing how we continue to develop under the easy umbrella and successfully accelerate digitalization in companies.”
