easy software AG has been awarded the “Software Made in Germany” and “Software Hosted in Germany” seals of approval by the German Federal Association of IT SMEs (BITMi). Both certifications stand for quality, reliability, and compliance with high data protection standards—and confirm easy software’s commitment to German SMEs and digital sovereignty.
The “Software Made in Germany” certificate recognizes software solutions that are developed and maintained in Germany. It stands for practical functionality, long-term investment security, and a direct line to the customer. The “Software Hosted in Germany” seal also guarantees that data is stored and processed exclusively in German data centers – in compliance with the strict requirements of the GDPR and German data protection law.
“The two BITMi certifications confirm our commitment to supporting companies in Germany and Europe with trustworthy and powerful solutions. For small and medium-sized businesses in particular, it is crucial to have local contacts who provide advice on an equal footing and are personally committed to achieving reliable security and independence. This is exactly what we stand for as a digitalization partner with several locations in German-speaking countries and a long history in the SME segment,” says easy CEO Andreas Zipser.
The double award underscores easy’s role as a reliable provider for the digital transformation of medium-sized companies—with a clear focus on transparency, security, and customer proximity.

What is BITMi?
The German Federal Association of IT SMEs (BITMi) is the only IT trade association that exclusively represents the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises. Its members are small and medium-sized IT companies from all areas of the IT industry, most of which are owner-managed. The association brings together both established IT companies and start-ups to identify common interests. In addition to its direct members, BITMi also has a number of associated associations under its umbrella. The association thus represents the interests of more than 2,500 medium-sized IT companies in Germany with a turnover of several billion euros.
