EASY SOFTWARE has successfully been accepted as a supplier on the UK Government G-Cloud – a framework that makes cloud-based solutions widely available through a front-end catalogue called the Digital Marketplace. The initiative aims to ease procurement of commodity information technology services that use cloud computing for public-sector bodies in the United Kingdom.
As such, the G-Cloud framework is the place to be for companies who sell their cloud-based solutions to the UK government, healthcare, universities, councils, or other public companies. The framework is run by The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) who are an executive agency, sponsored by the Cabinet Office.
With G-Cloud, public companies can award contracts directly through the framework without having to go through a tender processing, making it faster and more efficient. This is one of the many ways in which the CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers. EASY SOFTWARE has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s G-Cloud framework.
EASY went live on G-Cloud on November 9, 2022 when G-Cloud 13 has officially been launched. EASY has submitted to the service its cloud version of the EASY Archive – one of the most popular archive solutions in the European market for more than 30 years.
