easy received three awards this year from the German Design Council for its rebranding. Winning the German Design Award 2024 and two German Brand Awards 2024 confirms the successful realignment of the easy brand and brand management, from which customers and partners benefit.
The awards from the twelve-member jury, consisting of a top-class panel of experts from brand management and brand science, are recognition of easy’s new brand image, brand strategy and brand management and confirm the company’s success on the global market.
The awards were presented to easy in the categories “Excellent Communications Design Corporate Identity” and “Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation”. The awards are presented by the German Brand Institute Foundation, which was set up jointly by the Rat für Formgebung (German Design Council) and GMK Markenberatung (Brand Consultancy). Its aim is to strengthen the importance of the brand as a decisive success factor for companies in the national and international competitive environment.

In 2023, the company began a comprehensive repositioning of its brand identity. This strategic decision not only led to a redesign of the visual appearance in collaboration with the Essen-based design agency 31M, but also included a large number of brand strategy decisions and the implementation of various corporate measures, which already had a significant positive impact for customers and partners in a short space of time.
“The rebranding underlines our ongoing commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction and growth. A strong brand helps to build sustainable relationships and ensure the long-term success of everyone involved,” adds Heike Kohler-Reineke. easy’s strategic realignment was further strengthened by the acquisition of PROXESS GmbH in November 2023. At their three-day digitalization summit “move it”, the two companies presented their joint plans for the future. A central element of these plans is conrizon AG, a holding company for ECM brands whose portfolio already includes established brands such as easy, PROXESS and HABEL.
