As one of easy software’s most enduring products, easy archive has been shaping the standard for electronic archive systems in Europe as a market-leading solution for almost 30 years. Reliable and fast, easy to install and manage – as the name already implies. Other features, such as seamless integration with numerous external solutions, e.g. from SAP or Microsoft, show the continuous development of the archive over the years. In 2021, easy archive again qualified for certification according to officially recognized standards for legal and data protection:
- IDW PS-880 is a testing standard of the German Institute of Auditors (IDW) that tests software products for proper functionality and security. The criteria for the audit are task-specific norms and standards as well as specific sector and industry standards related to IT.
- ISAE 3000 (International Standard on Assurance Engagements 3000) is an international auditing standard of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). The auditing standard includes comprehensive assessment criteria for functional and security testing. Both auditing standards are based on the International Standards on Auditing (ISA) – internationally recognized principles that guarantee due care and consistent results.
With recertification under both audit standards, easy archive once again proves the conformity of its accounting-relevant and tax-relevant functions with the GDPR (German Data Protection Regulation), and GoBD (Principles for the Proper Keeping and Retention of Books, Records, and Documents in Electronic Form, and for Data Access), both of which are important for all customers.
